 Why do we have nightmares about our children dying? I have a reoccuring nightmare that my son falls and dies and that I am never able to help him. Its about either him falling into a pond in the dark and I cant find him or him falling from high up and I dont catch him. I cry all night and then again the whole next day, I need some answers.  |

| I always have visions of my son getting ran over by a car or being trapped in a car and being burned alive... falling off of a chair and hitting his head on the floor... anything that you can think of. It's just human instinct to protect your children. I guess if we didn't have visions or dreams like these, we would not do so well at protecting them. They keep us on our toes and help us react quicker if we see that something was about to happen. |

| Because we dream about the things we fear the most in life. And losing a child is the biggest fear of all. This is your way of processing what would be the most horrible thing you could imagine. It is actually very healthy. |
