 How did you get your baby to sleep throughout the night without waking up to nurse? Our 4-1/2monthold baby is breast fed and co-sleeps 95% of the night. My wife tries to put him in the crib but he wakes up within an hour and she gets no sleep because she waits for him to wake up. Is there any bedtime routine you can recommend? This is our bedtime routine: We go for a walk in the stroller at around 6:30pm, when we get home he is fed cereal, then he gets a bath, then he is nursed and if he doesn't fall to sleep then he goes into his swing, which puts him to sleep fast around 8:30 or 9pm. My wife also sings to him and reads before the swing (if he doesn't fall to sleep first). He still wakes up 1-2 times per night.  |
