| certain position, and my? entire body feels numb, kind of like when a limb goes to sleep due to lack of blood flow. I'm trying to make a noise but am unable to do so. I also cannot move. I'm usually trying to reach out and maybe bang on the wall beside my bed in order to attract attention. And when I fully wake up, I am indeed lying in that exact same position as in my "dream", but I feel totally okay. Is this what is meant by sleep paralysis? I am wondering, because I've read other people's descriptions of that and I personally wouldn't really describe it as my mind being awake and my body asleep, because I'm not thinking very clearly. Therefore, I feel my mind during those occasions is NOT awake. P.S. I'm in my thirties. |
