For me, no because whether school or no school, I always go to bed late and wake up at school time. But in the summer, I end up waking up at school time, then I realize that its summer so then I go back to sleep.

I can tell you that if you're listening to music or the tv or something while you are sleeping, you dream about what you're listening to.

Of course sleeping habits affect your dream. May be, during your school year, you woke up with alarm, then you didn't remember anything at all.
But, if you want to remember your dream, you can do some exercises. Before you sleep, you could tell yourself to remember your dream, and really mean it.
When you woke up, instantly, you should remember again before doing anything else, or your mind mixes up everything else.

when you get up immediately, it sorta eraces a bit of your dream and most of the time you can't even remember your dreams.

yes because if you sleep long enough, you go into the REM cycle in which you have dreams...an the longer you sleep, the more likely you are to dream
