No, but I have woken up crying before because of something sad in my dream.

I don't remember what I was dreaming, but I woke up and I was pinching the inside of my upper arm, in various spots, and my heart was pounding. The next morning I had 5 or 6 black and blue marks- so I was pinching myself pretty hard. I agree that stress is likely to blame for lots of weird dreams.

Yes, ..... some people hit, punch and/or kick while asleep. It's definitely signs of stress. My cousin, an only child, used to do this when she slept in her parents' bed. When she was already a teenager she kicked so hard that she broke one of her mom's ribs.

This is possible. It can happen. They may just be shaking and rolling around violently but they would not give a sure-fire non-doubtable punch.
