Well truthfully, every night you have about 6-8 dreams if not more it is just a thing of how many you actually remember by the time you weak up. The dreams can last anywhere from a few seconds to an hour or so but you don't normally remember them. Now for how many I remember each night, I normally remember one once a month.

According to what I recall Crazyblo is right on the number. The average person has approximately 6 dreams per night. Info I got from Casey kasem's top 40 countdown a few years back. lol
