Do you have any private problems? sometimes worries can kill the sleep. Try to sort it out.If you eat lot of meals with SOYA SAUCE, leave the soya away. It causes nightmares.

You might have sleep apnea. The reason you are having bad dreams is that you stop breathing while your asleep and dreaming. Your body is trying to wake you up so you could breath. Thats why in your dreams you need help or are in danger. This is common with sleep apnea. Do you have a weight problem, or gained a significant amount of weight recently. Do you snore? Do you have large tonsils or a small airway. You need to see the doctor to be treated for this. There are no quick remedies. Things that could help you a little, maybe would be those nasal strips.

De-stress. You tend to dream on what is the last things you were thinking of before you went to sleep. If you're having positive and happy thoughts, you won't have nightmares. A troubled sleep is due to a troubled mind. You could be also thinking of the scary movies you've seen. If you feel safer, have someone sleep with you, just to wake you up if you're having a nightmare. If you have a religion, then praying could calm your senses and give you a restful sleep.Loosing sleep is not healthy. You could go to a psychologist or psychiatrist that could prescribe appropriate sedatives. The idea really is to relax before going to sleep.
