| You can't write your dreams *while* you're sleeping, but I think the best way is to keep a lamp or flashlight, a pad of paper, and pen by your bed, and set your alarm for a time around an hour or two before you usually wake. You may catch yourself in the middle of a dream, and should be able to remember it just long enough to write it down. Don't let yourself wake up too much, or you may forget. Start writing immediately. And you'll definitely laugh in the morning to see what you've written, because it will be only half coherant. Try setting the alarm for different times if you aren't dreaming when it goes off. However, most REM sleep happens toward the end of your sleep time, not the beginning. Good luck! |

| I pretty much agree with "Dose Of Reality", except I wouldn't use a flashlight or any other light source. It will just blind you. Your eyes should be used to the dim light. Just remember to try to write legibly. I actually did this once. And reading my cryptic hand was kinda funny the next morning. Most dreams occur in the early morning, shortly before we wake up. |
