Men may be dreaming about sex...or not. Physiologically, nearly all people of both sexes become sexually aroused during the REM sleep cycle, when dreaming occurs. Of course, it is considerably less noticeable when a female has been aroused than a male, so there aren't popular terms for what a female experiences.
