I'd have to say yes. Have you seen a dog run in his sleep? We used to say he was "Chasing a rabbit".

Yes, my kitty does this too - it's so cute. Probably dreaming about actually getting through the glass window and hunting those birds she yelps at lol.

It is believed that the twitching cats do while sleeping is caused by dreams.My Ripley doesn't just twitch, he also makes various noises too.I like to think that he's dreaming of chasing mice and remembering special moments. =)

Yes. i have a cat and she twitches and makes little noises in her sleep. It's well cute!

Yes. Studies have shown that animals do dream. When they sleep, you might see some REM, or Rapid Eye Movement. Or they might twitch, make various noises and skitter a bit. Its perfectly normal. My cat does it too. He calls in his sleep. His calls are real loud and sound something like "Mooomie!! Yungkle!!". It was freaking me out but when I checked out the internet, I found out it was perfectly safe. Hope that helps! Good Luck and God Bless! :-D
