Default Please help me about my sleep and dreams...?

Hi, I need help about my sleeping. Whenever I sleep, absurd dreams disturb me, and they last to the end of my sleep time. I'm 18 years old, and I had this bad habbit when I was 10 or 11. 2 Months ago when I was talking to my mother I asked her about her last night dream and she told that she didn't dream, then I asked her for 2 nights ago, and she replyed me again "NOTHING", and after a few questions from my family, and some coevals I found that I may have some sickness and they are healthy! After that, I saw some doctors such as psychlogists and general practitioners, and they gave me some pills to could sleep, such as Citalopram, Clonazopam, Diaspam, and ChloroDiazPoxide, and another which I can remember it's name correctly (Like Azlap....) but they didn't make me better.I think this would be useful that, I have skill in some fields, Like Computer programming (Semi-Pro), Mathematics and Physics (A little more of my education), Playing Keyboard and a good mathematical aptitude.

Everyone dreams every night, but many or most people don't recall their dreams.Dreams occur during the REM phase of the sleep cycle. It is possible that you need to sleep more deeply during REM, because you may be having slight awakening events that bring you to the point where you are conscious of your dreams.First, do not eat or drink anything for about 4 hours prior to sleeping, except maybe a small amt of water if you are thirsty. Stop all drugs, both prescription and over the counter (Unless they are for something other than sleep, then talk to your doctor first) Make sure to use the bathroom right before you fall asleep. Then use ear plugs. See if that solves the problem. If it does not solve the problem, you should have a sleep study. The sleep study will diagnose sleeping abnormalities. When diagnosed, they can be correctly treated. Sleep studies are often administered by pulmonologists or other specialists. It sounds like your docs are throwing random meds at you and not really thinking the problem through.

Hi, it is not abnormal to have weird dreams, I get em. Watch what you eat before you go to bed, sometimes spicy things make me dream weird. I read if you eat radish's before going to bed you will have odd dreams You could aslo try a dream pillow, you can get them anyplace that sells native american stuff, and probably on line.

It sounds psychosomatic to me. If you've already tried a physical approach and failed, it's very likely a psychological problem. What the dreams are about could give you a good idea of what's wrong and how to fix it. Your dreams are an outlet for all the stress and confusion you encounter during the day. Your brain could be either very stressed, or more likely, you could be struggling with something far deeper, especially if it's been happening since you were 10. I would suggest you think very deeply about events that have impacted your life and if there are any correlations to your dreams. If this keeps happening I would suggest you talk to your doctor about mental tenets to this problem.
