If you sleep with the TV on all night, how does that affect your dreams?

| I know external stimuli play some role in dreaming but I don't know to what extent. Are most of your dreams likely to be connected to what's happening on the TV? Some? or is the effect negligible? And just how much useful information can you subliminally digest if you watch the news or something educational while you sleep? Would it be processed in any usable context? |
