I'm still having problems sleeping, what kind of doctor should I see?

I've been taking Tylenol PM for the past two weeks, and it helps me stay asleep, but if I don't take it then I wake up like 10 times during the night. The bottle says that if you still can't sleep after two weeks of taking it, then to see a doctor...What kind of doctor do you see? Do they like run tests or anything? Doctors scare me, I'm just wondering because I want to know what I'm in for.

Also, my mom doesn't believe me when I tell her I think it's a real problem, so how can I make her see that I want a good nights sleep so she will agree to take me?!
