 Horrible insomnia with periods... solutions? I get very, very bad insomnia for two days before my periods and for at least 2 days DURING periods. I am always soooo tired but cannot sleep and it is starting to disrupt my work. I am 31 and it has gotten worse over the past year. Have seen a doctor. All blood levels are fine, have had thorough health checks and no problem. Doctors gave me sleeping pills, but I do not want to take them as I was reliant on pills many years ago. What is the biolgocal basis for this? Is there a natural way, or some 'secret' to get some sleep during these times?!!!! CBT doesn't help either. Anyone with EXPERIENCE who can help me out here?  |
