Default Advice on Insomnia, dont want sleep pills!?

Tried usual stuff, no choc, no caffine, early nites, no stress in life so not that, Herbal any good or just a fad?

I'm afraid (she says still sitting at her computer at one o'clock in the morning!) it's all about routine. If you get into bed at the same time every night, after your routine nice bath (with lavender bubbles [lavender is brilliant for inducing natural, healthy sleep- even a few drops of this essential oil on your pillow should help]), and then read for about half an hour (a really boring book) you should find yourself slowly drifting to sleep.
Herbal throughout day can't be a bad thing anyway, but I wouldn't have any large quantities of liquids just before 'bed time' as you'll probably need to get up in the middle of the night- especially with tea!

A glass of milk before bed really does help.
