Neck problem when sleeping...?

Every morning when I wake up and through out the night my neck hurts really bad and it cracks a lot when I try and move it, but it still hurts after it cracked. I want to know if there is anything I can do so that when I sleep it wont hurt my neck every night?
I've been going to the chiropractor for a over year now, and I go once a month, and I just went recently, but no matter how much I go my neck still hurts from sleeping on it or something. So that is out of the question.

Does anyone know what I can do it so won't hurt every night and morning?

i use a temperpedic (memory foam) pillow and it helps. also my mom uses this chiro flow pillow its really cool it has like water in it and its supposed to help your back and neck
