 Bad insomnia but to young for sleeping pills[im14]please read details.i need help, getting desperate! :| :(? so, i'm 14. i have pretty bad insomnia , but like .. my psychiatrist (who sends me to a medical doctor that happens to be her husband) only uses naturual medications so that's all i can take , and they don't want me on prescription sleeping pills cause im "to young" and they're addictive. what could help me ? i've tried Melatonin, i was taking that for about 2 monthes but it didn't help. i use an electic oil defuser thing for lavender oil and that doesn't really help much. i try and drink milk before sleep, i read a bit before sleeping. i try everything, but i refuse to sit in the dark and wait because 1. it doesn't help. & 2. i'm deathly afraid of the dark (i sleep with my tv on) so what would anyone suggest ?! anything at all ? or am i hopeless. lol.  |

| Get a new doctor. I'd be EXTREMELY suspicious of a Dr. referring me to their spouse, especially if they only dealt in natural medicine. |
