| It's all about your habits. I used to have a terrible time falling asleep, I didn't think I could without the help of sleep aids, but I read an article that said you can train your mind to know that it is ready for bed. So, do 3-5 things every night around the same time. Like: first drink some hot tea or milk, then shower, then brush your teeth, then read for 10-15 minutes then go to bed.You may not see a difference for the first week while your brain is in training but your mind will catch on and get the hint to fall asleep. Also:Go to sleep at or around the same time at nightGet up at or around the same time every morningdo not drink caffeine 5-6 hours before bedDo not exercise 3-4 hours before bedStart exercising if you are not alreadyDo not watch TV in bedDo relaxing techniques in bed, that relax your entire body a part at a timeThere are some cds that you can buy that help your brain relax and allow you to fall asleep. And make sure your bedroom is reserved for sex and sleep only, no TV watching or eating in bed or bringing your laptop to bed with you.Good luck, and hope you get a good nights sleep soon! |
