It's not technically insomnia if you can sleep during the day. Some might call it "selective insomnia."You simply have a disrupted sleep pattern.

Your sleep rhythm needs to be changed. You can do it with practice.

It could be, or it could be lack of nutrition. At least I think it was in my case so many many many years ago.;) So you don't fall asleep in class, I suggest a healthy breakfast to get you thru the day-like peanut butter on whole wheat toast, a piece of fruit, and some juice. Bring a bottle of water to school with you and keep refilling it. Bring some carrot sticks or some whole wheat crackers for a between class snack. Eat your lunch. Stay away from high sugar snacks-because I remember doing the opposite of what I am telling you-skipping breakfast, not eating lunch, binging on sugary things when I got home, drinking lots of soda-and having the same issues you seem to be having now. It is hard to get into a routine when you feel rushed in the morning, but I can almost guarantee that the issues I had were due to poor nutrition.Hope this helps, Darlin!Hugs
