Assuming you mean the person is asleep while they have these dreams, no. It is at best a pseudo insomnia. Although similar, this is a different health problem and should not be treated as if it was insomnia. Although some treatment may overlap.

No. Because if you were dreaming it, then, you were really asleep. No one dreams while awake unless they are "daydreaming" or experiencing an episode of narcolepsy. Narcolepsy, on the otherhand, is an unnatural state of semiconciousness and may indeed, result in insomnia and the results that accompany it.

If you awake and have difficulty getting to sleep, then your suffering from insomnia, so long as you awake longer than say 20 hours or so.Adults should have about 7-9 hours sleep a day. Some people get as little as 5 and other get as much as 10-11Children need about 8-10 hours, but this also varies. There is no rules with this.If you DREAMED you were awake, your not expiering insomnia.Though, I would imagine that you feel asleep and then woke up briefly.
