Default Motor "lapses"

Hi,

I have not been diagnosed with narcolepsy yet, but since i was 13 i was always sleeping in classes (even during my undergrad years, having 3 cups of coffee and sitting on the 3rd row didn't help at all). But just recently i have been dropping things..not because i'm nervous, but more like a lapse - i dropped a knife that day while handling it to my dad and couldn't even focus on what he was saying and needed to lie down immediately. Is this narcolepsy? Does that affect driving? 'coz i'm getting a car soon.

Thanks...i have always been told to take vit C...does that help? Feeling the strain as even washing my face, taking a shower never helps.
Ash
