what might this nightmare mean? it was really weird.....?

i snuck into this beautiful victiorian house with my older brother, i saw five rugs and i switched them arround, then some magical thing with a sun ray happened... we left, and found out that some one had been murdered so we went back to the house

we walked up the stairs into the room farthest down the hall, and someone snuck up on my brother and smahed his head with a empty bottle of wine. i ran away.

anyone that went into the room was killed the same way my brother was, eventually there was a whole bunch of people locked in the basement, waiting to be killed. i was one of them. somehow, we got out.

i got a large knife and snuck back up to the room and found the killer killing a man who was protecting his wife. i stabbed the killer in the back, and yelled to everyone that he as dead, but then he stabbed me in the back, grabbed my by my neck, cut my lips/cheek and told me he couldnt die because of the magical sun ray that happened when i moved the rugs...
