Default am i a "'NIGHTMARE MOTHER''?

when i posed a question the other day a nightmare mother was what i got told from a man of course but what would this man do if hes teenage child was falling deeper into drug abuse and crime standby not wanting to be a nightmare dad or help beg do everything in his power to help his wayward child i simply asked for advice with a difficult child because everything i had tried was for the obvious not working and i guess i didnt mention i was a single parent with 4 other children to care for work parttime plus clean and cook and not even receiving a drop of help from the father havent even heard from him in 2yrs ! and iam not hating on men but just think next time before you let your fingers do the talking because i hope you never have to go through what i have in the last year my teenager is smart loves their family the drug addict they have become is opposite of who they were my entire family have tried to help the teen but just continually been kicked in the teeth and iam not perfect

Get assistance from the local social service right away. My brother's son was addicted to drugs and graduated to crack, from marijuana. Nobody else in the family even knows the stuff. My brother and his ex-wife got the kid in rehab and he's about to get out of the halfway house. By the grace of God and prayers, this boy found a job at a large store chain. He's not out of danger, but they stand by him. The family went to rehab counseling sessions to see how they could help. Look in the Yellow Pages today. Don't give up!Please also understand, the Yahoo members do not mean to be unkind. It relieves tension, boredom and sometimes people just like to be silly. Maybe they did not know your whole situation.

None of us are perfect...and you are not a nightmare mother.do not worry about what others think...take care of yourself first and your child(ren) second.Remember - nobody really knows until they have walked in our shoes.good luck
