Default Restless Leg Syndrome...help!?

Yesterday was my first time experiencing this dreadful syndrome. I have heard its normal for preg women to get this, but I'm wondering how often is it going to happen (more or less) & what can I do?? I'm absolutely misreable! It lasted all day, I didn't realize what was happening, then later in the evening I finally took a warm bath & my husband massage my legs. I just want to know how often its gonna pop up? Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, the morning I woke up with it I had this overwhelming craving for a glass of milk, which I NEVER drink milk, that was probably my first glass since childhood! What is that about? Anyone else suffering? I'm 19 weeks. & this sucks! Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!!

They say is can be caused by low calcium so maybe that is why the milk???

I had it constantly through out my pregnancy but mostly of a night time. Especially in the last trimester is was a regular thing for me to cry myself to sleep out of frustration. I slept with with a wheat/heat bag most nights which was very hard in the middle of summer (I was due in Feb this year!! And that's summer here in Australia). But also, like you did a massage from hubby or (kinda strange) he would wrap my legs up firmly in a towel or sheet.... kind of like swadling my legs lol.

Talk to your doctor I didn't realise that some women find relief with calcium supplements.

Good luck hope you don't suffer as much as I did.... although I have always gotten restless legs not just when I was pregnant but prepregnancy it was maybe once a month not EVERY night
