Default If you had 'restless leg syndrome' (your...

...legs move around at night), would you take a drug that would stop it BUT may cause increased gambling or sexual urges? (just saw and ad for the same)Just to clarify... I'm not saying the drug isn't a good thing, from a couple of comments it obviously helps some out. I'm just amazed how a drug that is aimed to stop leg movement can cause 'urges' of a psychological nature(especially gambling)(correction... 'may' cause increased urges)

If it was seriously keeping me from sleeping i would take benedryl instead because it puts me out for 12 hours and i wouldn't have to worry about my legs moving around

I've heard of this restless leg thing and I don't get it. I guess I'll have to ask my friends of any of them have it.Increase gambling? Are you kidding me? What if you never gambled to start with?

I am a cancer patient that is currently taking Requip for RLS. So my answer is yes. I take these pills at night and usually am asleep shortly after. I did see the side effects you have listed but I have not suffered from that. I have not even began to comprehend how this medication can cause someone to gamble. I would feel safer taking this medication than taking some of the other medication out that that causes hallucinations or siezures, or possibly death.

Are you kidding? I wonder how they'd realise it increases gambling urges?Sexual urges I could handle but I just don't have enough money to gamble!! Sometimes I trip over in my sleep (i'll dream I fell over), I kick my leg, and I wake up. It scares me. If I had that constantly through my sleep, i'd do ANYTHING to stop it.I love my sleep
