The sleep apnea test where you sleep overnight in the hospital with all sortsof wires glued to you is expensive if you don't have health insurance. If your sleeping partner says you snore a lot and quit breathing for longer than normal, then I'd at least get a second opinion from doctors you do trust. My wife said I snored when I slept on my back, but not on my side. The test at the hospital said I was sleeping very wellon my back and no oxygen deprivation was detected(or whatever they're measuring).

In my case, it was peace of mind knowing that I wasn't slowly killing myself one night at a time. Sleep apnea is nothing to screw around with.
